Vietnam has rich food cultures that could help diversify tourism and stimulate local and national economic development. Food Tourism can resonate ethical and sustainable values based on the territory, the landscape, local culture, local products, authenticity, which is something it has in common with current trends of cultural consumption.

Slow Travel Huế has strong commitment to the preservation of traditional crafts and arts. We take “Crafted in Hue” as a piloting craft tourism project axed on two pillars. Curate “Crafted in Hue” products and integrate craft experiences in Slow Travel itineraries.  

CBT is based on special aspects of local life that community members feel proud and comfortable to share with visitors, and that tour operators feel confident to sell. Local people are then trained to develop these potentials into fun, safe, and professional activities.
