The total cycling can vary from 4, 10 to 20km depending on your capacity, weather conditions. We transfer you there and back by private vehicle. There are also many kid-friendly options. Alternatively, you can ride a pillion on a motorbike from and back to the hotel, winding through hidden trails with multiple nice stops.

Continue your exploration of the nearby peaceful villages, orchards, and farmland. You will be amazed at how many useful medicinal plants are available in the wild and the local knowledge for traditional uses in treatments, cooking and more.
A team of passionate farmers, herbal experts welcome you at their wooden farmhouse and essential oil distillery. Join them for an herbal garden tour, cooking a healthy lunch and making some herbal products (e.g. rose hydrosol, handmade natural soap or scented beeswax candle, etc.)
In the afternoon, indulge with the peaceful backdrop of the mountains and the Perfume River. Swimming, rafting or simply bathing in the freshwater. Please bring swimsuit and clothes to change. The farmhouse has a charming bathroom to take a shower, with homemade natural shampoo, bath gel. If you are well fit (and weather permits), walk 4km further to a hidden stream and be one with nature.

Depart from the hotel at 8:00am, after a short transfer from the city centre (circa 12km, 30min), you’ll immediately grasp the peaceful scenes and picturesque landscape. You’ll make an in-depth exploration back to the source of Hue nature, history, and people. This is an auspicious land where most of the Lords and Kings of the Nguyen dynasty chose for their eternal rest in peace. Take a leisurely cycling trip along the upstream Perfume River, you’ll cross a floating bridge, flow along lush gardens to gain a true connection with nature. Visit the first and the most impressive royal mausoleum of Emperor Gia Long. He was a legendary warrior, a man with high persistence who reunified the country in 1802 and named it VIETNAM.
Continue browsing the villages surrounding the formerly war zone of Duong Hoa, dated back to the first Indochina war. There is a memorial stele standing as a witness of history. You will be even more overwhelmed by the present peace, greenery, and the local hospitality. Stop by a local farm for a healthy tea break. A friendly farmer will welcome and introduce you to the techniques of distilling rose hydrosol and essential oils from melaleuca, lemongrass, pomelo peel and other medicinal roots.
Enjoy a healthy lunch at the herbal farm, with home grown veggie and local delicacies. Relax and spend time learning more about other Vietnamese herbs, how they are harvested for daily use as well as for medicinal treatments. All the activities are designed to help reconnect to yourself of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wholeness.
After lunch, be absorbed with pristine nature as you relax on a thatched hut by the Perfume River. Swimming, paddling bamboo raft or soaking your feet in warm and aromatic salt water. Eventually, you can participate in making some herbal natural products, and keep your creation as a gift.
By mid-afternoon, make an easy cycling back along the shady lane to rejoin your vehicle. Transfer back to the hotel.
Note: It is possible to make a direct transfer to other destinations like Danang, Hoi An and Hue airport instead of returning to the city centre. Riding on the back of a motorbike is also great for this itinerary if guests do not cycle.
