By sunset, take a short drive to a nearby ancient village famed for the charm of slow living. With a dedicated company, ramble the green lanes to admire typical architectures, trade off the smiles with local farmers. Eventually, join them on the field or try making a local craft (e.g votive object).
Upon arrival at an ancient house, a hospitable family is waiting to welcome you. It’s time to open up some gentle talk about their house, garden, family traditions…Equally you may browse their garden to pick seasonal fruits or medicinal leaves. Lemongrass, grapefruit, betel leaves, etc give a good smell and effects for the footbath.
Back to the kitchen, join the family to cook some dishes and understand a typical Vietnamese menu. Take it easy, this is just fun, more interactive than a serious step-by-step cooking class. The purpose is to feel connected thus why not share back your talents and cooking know-how.
Pass on to the table, romantically lit up in the middle of the florist verandah, surrounded with candles, floating lanterns. Tempt your appetite with a sip of Minh Mang Emperor medicinal wine. Appreciate some local eating habits and enjoy a very memorable home dining experience. Before bidding farewell, relax with a footbath as the family wishes for your good health and mindful night.

A very enjoyable evening. Good to get more involved with the local people. The tea with the head of the family was very interesting and the foot soaking was a most enjoyable experience.
