Transforming pain to gain, crafting succesful homestay experience

1. Embracing Authenticity

Travelers crave genuine experiences that allow them to dive into local culture. While cultural differences may pose challenges, our guides act as cultural ambassadors, bridging understanding between guests and host families. The result? Engaging conversations and memorable cultural exchanges make the place truly unique.

2. Engaging with local cuisine

Homestays offer the perfect opportunity to savor local dishes. For those unfamiliar with Asian cuisine, it can be a bit intimidating. Joining the cooking process with the housewife or grandma not only unveils the secrets of Hue cuisine but also fosters an appreciation for the culinary universe.

3. Managing expectation for comfort and cleanliness

Balancing authenticity with comfort is crucial. While renovating our ancient garden-house, we ensure comfortable bedding, clean living spaces, modern bathrooms, and eco-friendly amenities. Clear communication with guests about the traditional architecture’s limitations is key (i.e. small rooms, no-ensuite bathroom but they are inside the houses and properly dedicated for guest’s use), and visual presentations aid in setting accurate expectations. 4. Nurturing the fine line of personalized service and independence, privacy

Personalized attention is a hallmark of homestays, but guests also value privacy. Our guides help hosts strike the right balance, briefing guests on options and ensuring private spaces. The emphasis is on valuing exclusive stay and providing rooms with private terraces when possible.

5. Reassuring safety and security

Health and safety are paramount. Guides and hosts provide honest information about local safety considerations. Adequate safety measures, including first aid kits and fire extinguishers, are in place. Positive communication is crucial, especially when guests arrive after dark. There can be some noise from dog, frog, chicken but there is nothing to worry about.

6. Making it a complete immersion than one night bed&breakfast

Our staycation package includes guided tours, offering guests a deeper understanding of the local area. Exploring hidden gems and interacting with local families enriches the experience, fostering a sense of pride and satisfaction for choosing a homestay.

7. Going extra mile to enhance flexibility

This isn’t a standard hotel. Early check-ins or late check-outs (morning arrival by train or late airport transfer) incur no extra charges. Guests are welcomed warmly, even if rooms are occupied. The host may offer some tea, fruit, or prepare an extra meal on request. Our guides ensure additional activities are available, meeting guests’ needs and adding value to their stay.

Sustainability, Happiness, Nature

Our mascot is a humanised turtle wearing a heart shaped shell, travelling slowly and happily. The head leans on Sustainability to promote a “tourism that respects both local people and the traveler, cultural heritage and the environment”. Our heart shares Happiness or “Fulfilling in connecting”. Our hands embrace Nature to provide eco-friendly services.
